JD Industrial, part of the JD Group, seeks a seasoned professional to lead local MRO category operations in Malaysia. You will drive on-site engagement with customers, manage product selection and portfolio planning, and collaborate across procurement, sales and logistics to ensure reliable delivery and cost efficiency.

You will analyze market trends, optimize SKU mix, and support regional strategies to expand high‑quality resources for Malaysian manufacturers while maintaining strong supplier

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Marketing or related fields is preferred.
• 5-10 years MRO industry experience, familiarity with general industrial supplies, hand & power tools, PPE, industrial chemicals; sales and procurement background is preferred.
• Fluent in business English and Chinese, capable of independent on-site communication and bilingual report writing.

• Assist regional lead to roll out localized category strategies and expand quality resources for Malaysian manufacturing clients.

4. Job Responsibilities

• 1） Conduct frequent on-site visits to customer factories to communicate, dig into and sort out customers’ MRO procurement demands accurately.
• 2） Take over business opportunities from sales teams, conduct product selection, category layout and medium-long term category planning for local Malaysia market.
• 3） Research local MRO market demand, competitor product assortment and price system, optimize cross-border & local product portfolio to lift category sales volume and gross profit.
• 4） Cooperate with procurement & supplier teams to optimize product supply structure, manage product lifecycle, adjust SKU mix and eliminate lowperforming goods.
• 5） Track category operation data including sales, inventory and gross margin, output regular analysis reports and propose category operation optimization plans.
• 6） Collaborate with local sales, warehouse and logistics teams to align product supply with customer demand, support stable delivery and after-sales product matching.
• 7） Assist regional lead to roll out localized category operation strategies, expand high-quality product resources matching Malaysian manufacturing clients.

5. Job Requirements

• 1） Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Marketing or related fields is preferred.
• 2） Work Experience: 5-10 years MRO industry relevant experience, solid familiarity with general industrial supplies, hand & power tools, PPE, industrial chemicals; candidates with both sales and procurement background are highly preferred.
• 3） Language: Fluent in both Chinese and business English, capable of independent on-site communication, demand communication and report writing with customers and suppliers in bilingual.
• 4） Competencies: Able to independently complete customer demand sorting, product selection and category planning; good data analysis, market insight and cross-team coordination skills; accept frequent cross-state customer site trips within Malaysia.
