Job summary

Thousands of Years Media Sdn. Bhd. (ToYm) is seeking a Merchant Acquisition Executive to identify merchants, secure participation and activate them across BiteShorts, Bite Shop and other programs.

You will build relationships with business owners and drive campaigns, promotions and digital initiatives. You will collaborate with marketing, product and operations to convert new relationships into active participation, manage the prospect pipeline, and deliver measurable merchant outcomes across

Qualifications

• Experience in merchant acquisition, B2B sales, business development, marketplaces, retail, F&B, e-commerce, partnerships or digital advertising.
• Show measurable achievements: merchants won, objections overcome and opportunities closed.
• Ability to build trust and convert sign-ups into active participation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize merchants suited to campaigns, products or programmes.
• Develop a consistent prospect pipeline using outreach, referrals, meetings, events and other channels.
• Connect with business owners or decision-makers and understand their objectives.
• Explain opportunities clearly and tailor pitches to merchant needs.
• Prepare proposals and discuss participation requirements within approved terms.
• Coordinate onboarding information and work with internal teams to bring merchants into programmes.
• Track prospects, meetings, proposals, onboarding, and active participation.
• Share market feedback on merchant needs, objections, and programme value.
