Job summary

Grab is seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to lead merchant acquisition for GrabMart in Malaysia. You will identify new retail partners, build relationships with decision-makers, and negotiate agreements to expand the GrabMart network.

You will collaborate with KAM, Marketing, Product, and Operations, manage a deals pipeline, analyze market trends, and drive monthly and quarterly targets for new signings and GMV growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development, sales, or partnerships with a focus on merchant acquisition.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding acquisition targets.
• Strong understanding of omni-commerce and offline retail operations.
• Willingness to travel to meet with potential merchants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to acquire new merchants for GrabMart, including identifying new opportunities and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Manage a pipeline of prospective retail partners and ensure consistent follow-up to hit targets.
• Collaborate with KAM, Marketing, Product, and Operations to unify merchant acquisition and onboarding.
• Analyze retail trends and competitor activity to refine acquisition strategies.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets across new signings and GMV contribution.
