Job summary

Exyte Malaysia is seeking an MEP BIM Modeler to support a major hyperscale data centre design by developing accurate MEP models, coordinating multidisciplinary systems and supporting construction delivery.

You will build detailed Revit models for MEP, coordinate with BIM teams, resolve clashes and support site changes, while maintaining model quality and records in line with BIM standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma, certificate or degree in MEP, BIM, engineering or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of BIM modelling experience on complex MEP projects.
• Strong practical experience with Revit MEP for accurate, coordinated models.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models.
• Ability to interpret MEP drawings, schematics and construction documentation.
• Understanding of MEP installation practices and construction methods.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, BIM Coordinators, contractors and vendors.
• Experience with hyperscale data centres or similar facilities is advantageous.
• Revit MEP or BIM certifications preferred, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed Revit models for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Maintain model information, parameters, naming conventions and file structures.
• Coordinate disciplines with BIM teams and review models for clashes.
• Resolve coordination issues and ensure constructability of designs.
• Model data centre systems including electrical, mechanical, cooling, fire protection and BMS/EPMS.
• Support construction delivery with coordinated BIM information and site changes.
• Update project records with as-built models and quantity take-offs.
• Follow BIM standards and information exchange procedures.
• Maintain model quality through QC before submissions.
