Job summary

Specific Dimension Sdn Bhd in Cyberjaya is seeking a skilled BIM Drafter to create and maintain 3D BIM models for M&E projects, ensuring accuracy and model integrity.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers and designers, using Revit or ArchiCAD, and contribute to design and construction workflows. This role offers exposure to diverse engineering projects and opportunities to develop your BIM expertise in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a BIM Drafter or similar role in the engineering industry.
• Proficient in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Formal training or certification in BIM or drafting.
• Experience with multiple BIM software platforms.
• Knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
• Understanding of project management principles.
• Experience in engineering consultancy environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar tools, ensuring models adhere to company standards and client specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to interpret design requirements and translate them into precise BIM models, maintaining model integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, assisting with model-related queries and troubleshooting while ensuring construction documents are reflected in BIM models.
• Stay up to date with BIM technologies, tools, and industry trends to improve workflows and deliverables, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
