Job summary

CPA Australia is seeking a motivated Member Service Agent (Outbound) in a hybrid arrangement with 2 days in the office. You will engage prospective members via outbound campaigns, articulate the value of CPA Australia membership, and support them through enrollment while delivering an exceptional first experience.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in outbound sales or similar roles, strong communication, and a track record of meeting targets.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in outbound sales, contact centre, or customer acquisition.
• Proven ability to achieve sales, conversion, or customer engagement targets.
• Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to work until 8:00pm on occasions.
• Proficiency in a language other than English, particularly Mandarin or Cantonese, is highly regarded.

Are you a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships and helping people achieve their goals? Join CPA Australia's Member Experience team and play a key role in converting prospective leads into new members while delivering a positive and engaging first experience with CPA Australia.

As a Member Service Agent (Outbound), you will engage with prospective members through outbound campaigns, identify their needs, articulate the value of CPA Australia membership, and support them through their enrolment journey. You will be an advocate for CPA Australia, helping drive membership growth while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Contact prospective members through outbound campaigns to drive new membership and enrolment growth.

Engage with prospective members to understand their goals, challenges, and career aspirations.

Provide high-quality advice, information, and solutions regarding CPA Australia programs and membership pathways.

Achieve individual new member acquisition and enrolment targets.

Deliver exceptional customer experiences that build trust and encourage membership conversion.

About You

You are a customer-focused sales professional who enjoys connecting with people and achieving results. You are confident in having meaningful conversations, overcoming objections, and helping prospective members make informed decisions about their professional development.

To be successful, you will have:

1+ years' experience in an outbound sales, contact centre, or customer acquisition role.

A proven ability to achieve sales, conversion, or customer engagement targets.

Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.

A positive, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset.

Strong listening skills with the ability to understand and respond to customer needs.

The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Flexibility to occasionally work until 8:00pm.

A tertiary qualification is highly regarded but not essential.

Proficiency in a language other than English, particularly Mandarin or Cantonese, will be highly regarded.
