Job summary

Sysmex Asia Pacific is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Shah Alam, Malaysia to install, service, and repair Sysmex medical devices ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

You will provide on-site and remote support, perform PMs, handle troubleshooting, and maintain detailed service records while upholding ISO and GDPMD standards. The role requires a biomedical/electronics/electrical/mechanical/IT degree and at least 3 years in field service within healthcare or life sciences.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Biomedical, Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' field service experience in IVD/healthcare or life sciences.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of laboratory or medical equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM; Microsoft Dynamics experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and telephone technical support for Sysmex medical devices.
• Install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Schedule PMs and support instrument demonstrations, installations, and training.
• Ensure compliance with ISO and GDPMD requirements including CAPA and audit findings.
• Maintain service records, CRM data, and spare-parts trunk stock.
• Support service agreements, PM kits, and spare parts quotations and follow-ups.
• Submit required reports and complete documentation.
• Undertake special assignments as assigned by Management.
