Job summary

Mach 1 Equipment Group is seeking an experienced Mechatronics Engineer to join our team in Shah Alam, Selangor and Pulau Pinang. You will design, develop and maintain advanced automated systems, covering sensors, actuators and control software for client projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Mechatronics or related engineering, with at least 2 years of hands‑on design and maintenance experience, and strong PLC/HMI/SCADA skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the design, development, and maintenance of mechatronic systems.
• Proficient in programming languages such as PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Solidworks, and LabVIEW.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and integrating complex mechatronic systems, including sensors, actuators, and control systems
• Conducting in-depth analysis and troubleshooting of existing systems to identify and resolve issues
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement customised solutions for our clients
• Performing regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure the optimal performance of our equipment
• Documenting technical specifications, procedures, and best practices to maintain knowledge within the organisation
• Providing technical support and training to our customers and internal teams
