Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Mechatronics/Automation Engineer to design, develop, and improve HMI systems for Ground Support Equipment simulators. You will create and modify HMI screens, integrate with PLCs, sensors, and actuators, and perform programming, testing, and debugging of automation systems.

You will work with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers through project development, conduct commissioning and calibration, compile technical documentation and wiring diagrams, and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in HMI development.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and industrial communication protocols.
• Familiar with sensors, actuators, servo motors, and industrial automation systems.
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, control panels, and troubleshooting.
• Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Willing to travel for site installation, commissioning, and technical support when required.
• Willing to base at Kota Warisan, Sepang.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve HMI systems for Ground Support Equipment simulators.
• Develop and modify HMI screens based on project requirements.
• Integrate HMI with PLCs, sensors, actuators, and other control systems.
• Perform programming, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of HMI and automation systems.
• Support the development of simulator control systems and ensure smooth communication between hardware and software.
• Conduct system commissioning, calibration, and functional testing before project delivery.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, mechanical, and software issues related to simulator systems.
• Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, wiring diagrams, and project reports.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers during project development.
• Provide technical support, maintenance, and upgrades for existing simulator systems.
• Ensure all systems comply with company standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.
• Participate in research and development (R&D) to enhance simulator technology and automation solutions.
