Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking technicians/engineers skilled in automation to support PLC programming, HMI development, and integration of industrial equipment. The role emphasizes teamwork, code quality, and adherence to safety and ISO standards.

Candidates should be capable of handling multiple tasks, writing and debugging PLC code, and traveling overseas for SAT and commissioning as needed. Experience with LabVIEW, PLCs, and HMIs is valued.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electromechanical relationships of an entire automation system.
• Strong interpersonal skills are required.
• Preferably has experience work under Automation Company or System Integrator environment.
• Effective multi-tasking skills to manage multiple issues at any one time.
• Ability to write and debug multiple-station PLC code and to write device drivers.
• Produces Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) adhering to modern UI/UX standards.
• Work in close cooperation within the team to proactively implement industrial equipment & solutions.
• Diagrams logic system for functions such as sequence and timing control.
• Develops modular, readable and reusable code to ensure reliability, longevity and emphasizing continual improvement.
• Configure and troubleshoots software communications.
• Prepares documentation and program flow chart.
• Work a part of a team to design, implement and test control and integrated systems.
• Capable of team work, of delegating and taking initiatives.
• Manages all assigned tasks in a neat and timely while striving to maintain budgeted hours.
• Follows safety rules and keeps work area in clean and orderly condition.
• Require to travel overseas for SAT and commissioning.
• Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
• To comply to all requirements of ISO ... and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.
