Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, implement and commission automation systems within a manufacturing environment. You will wire machines, develop detailed electrical schematics, and support installation from start-up to commissioning.

The role requires AutoCAD/EPLAN proficiency, PLC programming, and BOM management, with collaboration across mechanical, software, and project teams. Onsite in Melaka, permanent full-time, five-day workweek.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in electrical engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and EPLAN for electrical design.
• Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting background.

Responsibilities

• Machine automation wiring: design, implement, and troubleshoot wiring systems.
• Schematic design: develop electrical schematics for automation projects.
• Hands-on support for assembly, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Utilize AutoCAD and EPLAN to create/modify drawings with accuracy.
• PLC programming: design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs to meet project needs.
• Handle single-phase and three-phase wiring configurations.
• Laser marking integration within automation processes.
• Develop and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) for electrical components.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and project teams to meet timelines.
• Maintain documentation for all electrical designs and troubleshooting activities.
