Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to design, program, test, and commission automation systems. The role requires hands-on PLC/SCADA programming, instrumentation knowledge, and field testing across sites in Malaysia.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation and Control Engineering with at least 3 years of related experience. Travel to client sites is expected, and driving license is required.

Qualifications

Minimum Degree in Electrical/Electronics/ Instrument and Control Engineering or any related field.
3+ years of experience in electrical/instrumentation control field is preferred.
Experience with low voltage MCC and VFD is an added advantage.
Hands-on programming of PLC, SCADA, and touch screens is required.
Willingness to travel to site and possess own transport with valid driving license.

Responsibilities

Prepare or review the E&I design and drawings.
Design and develop programming for automation and control systems involving PLC/Touch Screens/SCADA.
Conduct Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test.
Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, testing and commissioning work.
Coordinate project activities internally and with other departments to ensure on-time completion within budget.
