Job summary

Elsa Talent is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of plant equipment and facilities in Johor, Malaysia. The role covers preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance, inspection, fault diagnosis and repairs to minimize downtime and sustain operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma in science/engineering/technology or Certificate from INSTEP.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Conversant with mechanical systems & equipment fundamentals, maintenance tools & practices, drawing reading & basic engineering calculations.
• Familiar with Tools Box Session.
• Familiar with CMMS (e.g., SAP PM).
• Able to troubleshoot & diagnose mechanical faults; perform repair/overhaul; strong problem solving & analytical thinking.
• Good communication with engineers and operators; teamwork and site coordination; safety awareness (oil & gas).
• Efficient in report writing & computer usage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and reliable operation of plant equipment, machinery and facilities through preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance.
• Inspect equipment, diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
• Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts to keep the plant running safely and effectively.
• Follow health, safety, and regulatory requirements; coordinate with engineers, planners and contractors to execute maintenance efficiently; document maintenance work and monitor equipment condition.

Job description

• Responsible for ensuring the smoothand reliable operation of plantequipment, machinery, and facilitiesby performing preventive, corrective,and emergency maintenance.
