Job summary

ELSA in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a senior Maintenance Supervisor to oversee plant equipment, electrical and mechanical systems, and facilities, ensuring smooth operation and minimizing downtime. You will inspect, diagnose faults, perform repairs, and support commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement while adhering to health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in science/engineering/technology or cert from INSTEP.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems & equipment fundamentals; maintenance tools & practices; reading drawings and basic engineering calculations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of plant equipment, machinery and facilities through preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance; inspect, diagnose faults and repair across electrical and mechanical systems; support commissioning and continuous improvement to keep plant running safely.
• Strictly follow health, safety and regulatory requirements; coordinate with engineers, planners and contractors; document maintenance work and monitor equipment condition to ensure compliance and asset integrity.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of plant equipment, machinery, and facilities by performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance. The role involves inspecting equipment, diagnosing faults, and carrying out repairs across electrical, mechanical, or other systems to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency. They also support commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts to keep the plant running safely and effectively.
• Must strictly follow health, safety, and regulatory requirements, while coordinating with engineers, planners, and contractors to execute maintenance activities efficiently. Proper documentation of maintenance work, monitoring of equipment condition, and adherence to company procedures are essential to ensure compliance, reliability, and overall asset integrity in the facility

Requirement

• Diploma in science/engineering/technology OR Certificate from INSTEP
• Possess minimum 5 years of experience in supervisory role
• Conversant in :
