FLEXTRONICS TECHNOLOGY (PENANG) SDN BHD in Batu Kawan, Penang is seeking a Process Engineer (Mechanical) to optimize cost, quality and delivery in the manufacturing environment. You will define, implement and evaluate designs and processes for manufacturability, work with stakeholders to identify root causes of failures, and support daily production with effective problem solving.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4–5 years of relevant experience, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience.
• Background in sheet metal fabrication, mechanical assembly, rack integration, and data center infrastructure solutions would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product.
• Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
• Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
• Participate in cycle time and process-improvement activities.
• Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies.
• Interface with production for new process implementation and transfer.
• Provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.
