Job summary
Projet Technology Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a manufacturing professional to review drawings, prepare production processes and support various fabrication methods in Penang, Batu Kawan.
The role emphasizes DFM input, process optimization and cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering, Production and Quality teams. The ideal candidate has a diploma/degree in mechanical/manufacturing/mechatronics, solid problem-solving skills and familiarity with CAD/CAM/CNC tools.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics or related Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Review drawings, 3D models and customer requirements for manufacturability.
- Plan and prepare manufacturing processes for production.
- Support 3D printing, CNC machining, laser fabrication and related processes.
- Optimize process parameters, workflow, material usage and production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot production and quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Perform DFM review and provide technical recommendations.
- Support inspection, quality documentation and QMS requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement, 5S and process standardization.
- Work closely with Engineering, Production and Quality teams.
- Provide technical guidance and training to technicians when required.
