Flex is seeking a Process Engineer based in Bukit Minyak, Penang. The role focuses on improving cost, quality, and delivery through robust process engineering and design evaluation within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in process engineering or related field.
• Experience with process improvement and manufacturing technologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, and the product.
• Define, implement and evaluate designs and processes for manufacturability.
• Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
• Participate in daily production activities and problem solving.
• Prepare justification and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production and ECOs.
• Establish robust process parameters and control methodologies.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and drive improvements.
• Develop and document process methods and transfer to production.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience and training
