Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled Maintenance/Machining Technician to oversee all machining activities, including lathe, milling and drilling operations within the workshop. The role involves contributing to plant modifications requiring machining work, and ensuring timely replenishment and planning of spare parts and materials from the store.
You will be responsible for maintaining safe and clean workshop conditions, keeping equipment well-kept, and performing PM tasks in MAXIMO.

To be in charge of all machining works including lathe machine, milling and drilling
To be involve in any plant modification which required machining works.
To make sure replenished of parts in store on time.
To plan all the spare parts required from the store. (related to machining works)
To plan sufficient material and tools for his works.
To be in charge of safe keeping and cleanliness of all equipment and tools in workshop.
To be assist if problems occur when he are off duty.
To create a safe and good environmental working condition.
To be in charge of housekeeping in workshop.
To carry out all maintenance P.M works issued from his superior and complete P.M in MAXIMO system.
To make adequate decision and trouble shooting of machineries.
To informed his superior immediately when serious problem occur or when require superior decision.
To be involved in all plant maintenance shutdown.
To assist in general functions when needed by superior.
To ensure proper housekeeping are carried out daily.
To do daily inspection of all equipment when on shift.
To assist in general functions when needed by superior.
To be responsible for department 111 (Old Crushing).
To attend monthly meeting for Maintenance Section. (Will be excused if any breakdown or are in shift)
Min SPM / certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, Industrial Maintenance or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in machining, maintenance or heavy industrial environment.
Hands-on experience in operating lathe machines, milling machines, drilling machines, and other workshop equipment.
