Job summary

Sunward Pharmaceutical Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on production machines and equipment, and to execute planned maintenance for facilities according to the schedule.

You will record maintenance activities, assist Production with machine settings, monitor routine tasks, and respond to breakdowns. Installation of new equipment and supervision of outside contractors are included to ensure high standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in mechanical or relevant field.
• 2 years of experience in machine maintenance or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machines and equipment.
• Carry out maintenance for facilities as per planning (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
• Record and document maintenance reports (SOP, PM, Calibration, etc.).
• Assist Production in machine operation settings where applicable.
• Carry out routine monitoring, inspection, maintenance and repair as assigned.
• Attend and initiate troubleshooting and repair of machine breakdowns.
• Install new machine equipment.
• Monitor and supervise external contractors to ensure high standards.
• Ensure spare parts stock is sufficient.

Responsible to preform Preventive Maintenance works as per schedule for Production machines and Equipment.

Carry out Maintenance activity for supporting facilities as per planning (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc).

Record and document of all related maintenance activities reports such as SOP, PM, Calibration report and etc.

Assist Production Department in machine operation setting where applicable.

Carry out routine monitoring, inspection, maintenance and repair works as assigned by superior.

Attend and initiate troubleshooting and repair of any machinery breakdown, report immediately to the superior if face any difficulties in completing jobs.

To carry out installation of new machine equipment.

Monitor and supervise all work performed by outside contractors is done properly and high standard.

Ensure the stock for spare part is sufficient.

Carry out maintenance task as assigned by the superior and management from time to time.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Certificate / Diploma in mechanical or any relevant field.

Minimum 2 years working experience preferably in machine maintenance and facilities or equivalent.
