Job summary
Stellantis Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Facilities Maintenance) to ensure the reliability, efficiency and safe operation of our manufacturing facilities. You will plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance across HVAC, utilities, and mechanical systems while troubleshooting equipment failures and coordinating contractors.
With 5–8 years of facilities or plant maintenance experience, you will support facility upgrades, monitor spare parts, and ensure DOSH/Bomba/DOE
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5-8 years' experience in facilities or plant maintenance.
- Experience maintaining HVAC, utilities and mechanical systems; manufacturing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Maintain HVAC, compressed air, pumps, piping and utility systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform root cause analysis.
- Coordinate contractors and maintenance service providers.
- Support facility upgrades and installation projects.
- Prepare maintenance schedules and technical reports.
- Monitor spare parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with DOSH, BOMBA, DOE and company standards.
- Support emergency breakdown response.
- Drive Kaizen and maintenance improvement initiatives.
