Job summary

Molex Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Facilities Engineer (Mechanical) to ensure reliable operation of critical mechanical utility systems supporting manufacturing. You will oversee maintenance, optimisation, and infrastructure projects, coordinating with production, EHS, and contractors to drive energy efficiency and uptime.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities engineering, utilities operation, maintenance, or related industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical utility systems (HVAC, chillers, compressed air, vacuum, exhaust, fire protection).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical utility systems (CDA, HVAC, chillers, vacuum, exhaust, fire protection).
• Monitor system parameters via SCADA/BMS and field inspections for stability and reliability.
• Plan and execute facility improvement projects, upgrade utilities and infrastructure.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (DOSH, BOMBA, DOE, ISO) and maintain documentation and records.
