Job summary

INNOAXIS TECHNOLOGIES SDN. BHD. seeks a Facility Maintenance Executive in Kulai to oversee maintenance of building facilities, utilities and production support systems.

You will ensure safe, efficient operations and manage preventive and corrective activities across electrical, mechanical, HVAC and environmental control systems. Responsibilities include coordinating with external vendors, inspecting critical equipment, and maintaining maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Facilities Management.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Facility Maintenance, preferably in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with WWTP, bag filter, scrubber, DI water, cleanroom and fire protection systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, compressed air and plumbing systems.
• Ability to coordinate vendors, contractors and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance for building facilities, utilities and production support systems.
• Ensure facility equipment operates safely and efficiently per company requirements.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair and maintain electrical, mechanical, HVAC, compressed air and plumbing systems.
• Monitor and operate environmental control systems including WWTP, bag filter, scrubber and DI water systems.
• Conduct inspections and maintain fire protection systems (pumps, hydrants, alarms).
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance projects.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance in all activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and schedules.
• Identify cost reduction and energy efficiency opportunities.

Job description

We are looking for a Facility Maintenance Executive to manage and maintain our building facilities, utilities, environmental control systems and production support systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all facility systems operate safely, efficiently and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities for building facilities, utilities and production support systems.
• Ensure all facility equipment and systems are operating efficiently, safely and in accordance with company requirements.
• Perform troubleshooting, inspection, repair and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, compressed air and plumbing systems.
• Monitor, operate and maintain facility and environmental control systems, including Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Bag Filter System, Scrubber System, DI Water System, Cleanroom System, and Fire Protection / Fire Fighting System.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure proper maintenance of fire protection systems, including fire pumps, hydrants, hose reels, sprinkler systems, fire alarms and other related equipment.
• Coordinate with external vendors, contractors and service providers for maintenance, repair, inspection and facility improvement projects.
• Monitor contractors' work to ensure compliance with safety, quality and company requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, equipment history and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, energy efficiency and continuous improvement of facility systems.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Facility Maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience and working knowledge of WWTP, Bag Filter, Scrubber, DI Water, Cleanroom and Fire Protection / Fire Fighting Systems.
• Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, compressed air and plumbing systems.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Able to coordinate and manage vendors, contractors and service providers effectively.
• Familiar with OSHA, Department of Environment (DOE) and relevant facility safety requirements.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
