Job summary

Stellantis Malaysia is seeking a proactive Preventive Maintenance Engineer to develop, implement, and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs that maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and improve asset performance at the Gurun automotive plant.

You will plan annual, monthly, and weekly maintenance schedules; monitor MTBF, MTTR, and asset availability; conduct root cause analysis; coordinate shutdowns and contractor activities; maintain CMMS/SAP PM data; and drive

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
3–7 years of experience in preventive maintenance, maintenance planning, reliability engineering, or manufacturing maintenance.
Experience in automotive/manufacturing industry preferred.
Hands-on CMMS/SAP PM experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Develop and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Plan and manage annual, monthly, and weekly maintenance schedules.
Monitor equipment reliability, maintenance compliance, and asset performance.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions to eliminate recurring failures.
Maintain equipment history, maintenance records, and CMMS/SAP PM data.
Coordinate maintenance shutdowns to minimize production disruption.
Monitor spare parts requirements and work with Purchasing to ensure material availability.
Manage contractors and service providers to ensure safe and timely maintenance execution.
Track maintenance KPIs and recommend improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with DOSH, BOMBA, DOE, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, and company safety requirements.
Support equipment upgrades, commissioning, and facility improvement projects.
Drive Lean Maintenance, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
