Job summary

Jurutera Teras Bistari Sdn Bhd is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to design and coordinate M&E building services across Malaysia. You will prepare calculations, reports, and tender documents while reviewing drawings and coordinating with clients and project teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; Revit/BIM is a plus.

Jurutera Teras Bistari Sdn. Bhd. is an established Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineering Consultancy firm involved in the design, supervision, and management of building services projects throughout Malaysia. We are looking for passionate and committed engineers to join our growing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and coordinate Mechanical & Electrical building services.

Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and tender documents.

Review shop drawings, material submissions, and technical proposals.

Coordinate with clients, architects, structural engineers, contractors, and relevant authorities.

Attend project meetings, site inspections, and monitor project progress.

Ensure projects are delivered within the required quality, timeline, and regulatory standards.

Assist Project Engineers and Directors in project planning and execution.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Building Services/M&E Consultancy/Construction Industry.

Good understanding of M&E systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.

Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Revit or BIM will be an added advantage.

Able to prepare technical submissions, reports, drawings, and project documentation.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Possess own transport and willing to travel to project sites when required.
