Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Design Engineer role based in Puchong. The Mechanical Design Engineer will design and develop mechanical components and systems for semiconductor test and assembly solutions, from concept to detailed design. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating 3D models and drawings using CAD tools, performing basic engineering calculations, and ensuring designs meet performance, manufacturability, and safety requirements. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality, and project management to refine designs, support prototyping, and resolve engineering issues. The engineer will also assist in design reviews, prepare documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering for industrial or automation-related applications.
• Candidates should possess skills in Machine Design and Product Design, including designing mechanisms, assemblies, and fixtures.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and detailed drafting.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field are preferred.
• Beneficial skills include knowledge of semiconductor or precision equipment, tolerance and GD&T, material selection, and basic FEA or engineering analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site, communicate clearly, manage multiple projects, and solve technical problems systematically.
