Job summary

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical & Engineering or Materials Engineering Sciences with 3–5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support in interpretation of specifications, adequacy of documentation, disposition of non-conforming materials, and training on inspection equipment usage.
• Identifies and plans inspection and test requirements for adequate assessment of incoming piece-parts quality.
• Analyzes inspection, evaluation and test data; feeds back quality performance to suppliers.
• Active involvement in quality improvement programs with suppliers.
• Leads in sourcing substitute/alternative materials to achieve cost savings while ensuring supply and quality.
• Assists manufacturing in evaluating material-related issues and disposition of non-conforming materials.
