Job summary

EP Engineering in Malaysia is seeking a highly experienced inventory and logistics professional to manage material tracking, warehouse operations, and cataloguing. The role requires extensive use of SAP or similar systems and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient material flow to and from worksites.

• At least 10 years' experience in material tracking, warehouse/inventory management and material cataloguing.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar inventory/logistics systems.
• Experience coordinating material movements to/from worksites and supporting procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with warehouse teams to support inventory planning and min/max stock levels.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or surplus.
• Coordinate vendor activities and logistics, including import/export and customs where applicable.

Job description

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related discipline. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualification.
• A minimum of ten (10) years' experience in material tracking, warehouse and inventory management, and material cataloguing, including utilization of inventory or logistics systems.
• Demonstrate understanding and capability in using SAP or similar inventory/logistics systems as part of daily operations.
• Experience in managing equipment or material movement for preparation to worksite and/or return from worksite, including involvement in material coordination and procurement processes (e.g. PO creation or equivalent).
• Work closely with warehouse inventory management and relevant operational teams (e.g. Well Services or Drilling) to support inventory planning, including min/max stock levels or equivalent practices.
• Experience in inventory monitoring and reporting, including tracking of stock levels and identification of shortages or surplus.
• Familiar with vendor coordination, logistics processes, and import/export requirements, including customs clearance where applicable.
