Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a material planning coordinator to manage workflow from purchasing through to finished goods, ensuring accurate inventory and timely material availability.

You will forecast demand, monitor FIFO-based materials, and liaise with R&D, Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, and QC/QA to keep SAP material master data up to date. Safety, EMS/QMS compliance, and ad-hoc tasks are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in manufacturing field.
• Proficient in written/spoken English and BM (Malay).
• Possess initiative, proactive work attitude and able to work independently and under pressure.
• Diploma in Management Studies or equivalent education is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, release and track workflow from purchasing to finished goods.
• Maintain inventory accuracy including safety stocks, aging and slow-moving stock.
• Oversee material management planning and flow on a day-to-day basis.
• Forecast material needs based on market trend and demand.
• Monitor raw materials and finished goods using FIFO method.

Responsible in the planning, scheduling, releasing, and tracking of workflow from the purchasing point to finished products being sold off.

Inventory accuracy, safety stocks, excess & obsolescence, Aging & slow-moving stocks management

Day to day operation related to material management planning & flow.

Responsible for material forecast based on market trend/demand.

Monitor and control raw materials and finished goods by FIFO method.

Responsible in liaison between R&D, Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, QC/QA, Sales Administration Department

To maintain material master data in the SAP system

Follow safety standards, comply and practice established safety policies, understanding the relevant environmental aspects and their impacts, comply to HSE and organization`s compliance obligations, practise recycling and the established environmental program.

Fulfilled the company QMS and EMS requirement.

Perform any ad-hoc job given by superior.

Qualifications and education background :

At least 2-3 years’ experience in manufacturing field.

Knowledge in SAP will be added advantage.

Proficient in written/spoken English & BM, people oriented with good interpersonal communication skills.

Possess initiative, proactive work attitude and able to work independently and under pressure
