Job summary

AME Elite Consortium Berhad 腾宇集团 is seeking a site-based Storekeeper to support construction site teams. You will receive, verify, and issue materials, maintain stock records and ensure proper documentation for all issued items.

The role requires basic Excel skills and knowledge of inventory systems, with a focus on accurate stock control and timely reporting to prevent shortages on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in storekeeping, preferably in construction or engineering Environment.
• Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools.
• Basic computer skills (Excel / inventory systems).

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming materials against DO and purchase documents.
• Maintain accurate stock records (manual or system based).
• Monitor stock levels and report low stock or shortages to site management.
• Issue materials to site staff, subcontractors and supervisors based on approved requisitions.
• Ensure proper documentation for all issued and returned items.
• Track materials usage to prevent wastage, loss and misuse.

Job description

Job Responsibility

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming materials against delivery Orders (DO) and purchase documents
• Ensure collect storage of materials, tools and equipment according to safety and quality standards
• Maintain accurate stock records (manual or system based)
• Monitor stock levels and report low stock or shortages to the site management.
• Issue materials to site staffs, subcontractors and supervisors based on approved requisitions.
• Ensure proper documentation for all issued and return items.
• Track materials usage to prevent wastage, loss and misuse.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisor and procurement regarding material requirements.
• Assist in planning material deliveries to avoid site congestion or delays
• Support site operations by ensuring materials are readily available when required
• Prepare daily, weekly or monthly inventory reports
• Support audits and stock take as required
• Ensure store area is clean, organized and compliant with safety regulations
• Identify and report damaged, expired or obsolete materials
• Ensure proper handling of hazardous or sensitive materials

Job Requirements

This role is site-based and will involve working closely with site teams in a construction environment

Requirements

• Min SPM/Certificate/SPM (preferred in logistic, warehouse or construction related fields
• 1-3 years' experience as storekeeper, preferably in construction or engineering environment.
• Basic knowledge of constructions materials and tools
• Basic computer skills (Excell/ inventory systems)
