Job summary

Hexatech Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent Storekeeper for project sites in Malaysia. You will receive, inspect, and issue materials, and maintain accurate stock records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a storekeeper in M&E/construction inventory management.
• Knowledge of receiving, storing, issuing, and controlling materials.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle materials on site.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with site teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify materials and equipment against orders.
• Maintain stock records for all incoming, outgoing, and stored items.
• Label, organise, and store materials for easy identification.
• Issue materials to site workers based on requests and record it.
• Conduct regular stock-taking and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Site Team for replenishment.
• Keep site store clean, secure, and safely maintained.
• Maintain records of usage, damaged items, and stock movement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Receive, inspect, and verify materials, tools, and equipment delivered to the project site against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records for all incoming, outgoing, and stored materials and equipment.
• Properly label, organise, and store materials to ensure easy identification, accessibility, and efficient use of storage space.
• Issue materials, tools, and equipment to site workers and project teams based on authorised requests and maintain proper records.
• Conduct regular stock-taking and reconciliation to identify discrepancies and prevent loss or wastage.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Site Team and Procurement Department for material replenishment.
• Ensure the site store is clean, secure, and safely maintained, including proper handling and storage of hazardous or fragile materials.
• Maintain records of material usage, damaged/lost items, tool returns, and stock movement, and prepare reports as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management or immediate supervisor.

Requirement

• Proven experience working as a Storekeeper preferably in M&E, construction, or in a similar inventory management role within the construction industry or a related sector
• Good knowledge of receiving, storing, issuing, and controlling construction and M&E materials.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel; experience with inventory or store management systems is an advantage.
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in stock records and documentation.
• Physically fit and able to handle and move materials and equipment safely at the project site.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently and coordinate with site and project teams.
