Job summary

Met T&S Ltd. is seeking a Site Logistics / Materials Coordinator to manage warehouse operations and material flow on site. You will coordinate arrivals, ensure documentation accuracy, and support construction scheduling with reliable material availability.

The role requires a university degree or diploma and a CIDB Green Card, with preference for candidates having Petronas project experience in Pengerang, Johor. Excellent salary package with benefits is offered in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.
• CIDB Green Card.
• Preferably with experience working on Petronas projects in Pengerang, Johor.

Responsibilities

• Arrange warehouse logistics as instructed by Site Manager.
• Manage information related to material arrival and availability at the warehouse.
• Coordinate shipping documentation and feed warehouse database with proper information.
• Support customs clearance of materials.
• Manage receiving, checking, storage, and preservation of materials at site.
• Ensure material certificates are received, checked, recorded and traceable.
• Issue supply non-conformities and follow up resolutions.
• Initiate insurance claims for damaged materials during transport or erection.
• Initiate claims against vendors for missing materials or non-conformities.
• Provide updated material availability information to Site Planner to support construction schedules.

• He reports to the Site Control Manager.
• He is responsible for materialmanagement at Site.
• He collects all the documents andcertification covering the arrival of materials at site and provides forrecording of their movements.
• He supplies Site Control Manager withelements enabling the feasibility analysis of the construction programs.

Duties and responsibilities

• To arrange warehouse logistics according tothe instructions of the Site Manager;
• To manage informationrelevant to arrival of materials at site and their availability at thewarehouse;
• To coordinate theavailability of shipping documentation and feed the warehouse data base withproper information;
• Co-ordinate any necessaryaction to support customs clearance of materials;
• To manage the receiving,check, storage and preservation of materials delivered at Site;
• To manage the receiving,check, recording and traceability of material certificates;
• To issue any supplynon-conformities and follow-up the relevant resolution;
• Initiate proceduresconcerning insurance claims for damage to materials during transport to Siteor during erection;
• To start the application forinsurance claims related to materials damaged during transportation orerection;
• To initiate claims againstvendors for missing materials and/or non-conformity with the relevantpurchase order;
• To supply Site Planner withupdated information regarding materials availability at site to support theconstruction schedule reliability;
• To inform Site ControlManager/Coordinator about plant material status and delivery forecasts, inorder to verify the feasibility of Construction schedules;
• To manage the delivery ofmaterials to Subcontractors in accordance with material list presented by thesame and according to the instructions given by the Supervisors;
• To keep records about thehandling of materials, using corporate software systems;
• Perform feasibility analysisby the Company software System;
• To keep on records ofsurplus materials for possible sale at the end of the job.

Knowledge& Qualifications

University degree or diplomain relevant discipline or equivalent.

Experience

Candidate must possess avalid CIDB Green Card

Preferably with experienceworking on Petronas projects in Pengerang, Johor
