Job summary

Asian Pac Holdings Berhad (APHB) is seeking a Marketing Assistant in Sabah, Malaysia. You will support marketing activities, coordinate events, compile reports, and manage documentation with strong attention to detail.

The role requires a diploma in a related field, at least 1 year of marketing experience, and proficiency in MS Office. English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills are essential for this fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in marketing, events, promotions, or a related function.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to coordinate events, campaigns, vendors, and related marketing activities.
• Good organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
• Able to prepare reports, maintain records, and handle marketing documentation accurately.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative, proactive, resourceful, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience in retail, shopping mall, property, or event marketing will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure SOPs are followed for internal controls and smooth operations.
• Compile and format daily, weekly, monthly, and management reports on time and accurately.
• Manage and monitor all courier matters until receipt is confirmed.
• Gather data from footfall counts, payment systems, inventory systems, and risk reports.
• Maintain, organize, and securely store all filing and document records.
• Manage Marketing Support approval documentation and submission processes.
• Assist with Push-Carts related matters.
• Maintain and update documents on Microsoft Teams for easy access and collaboration.
• Develop and implement filing systems for electronic and physical documents.
