Job summary

AHW Advanced Technologies Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced HR & Administration Manager (Manufacturing) to lead HR and administrative functions in Bukit Selambau, Kedah.

This full-time role reports to senior management and focuses on building a high-performing workforce aligned with Malaysian employment laws and company values. You will manage recruitment, payroll, benefits, leave, and records, while driving policy development, employee relations, and compliance across the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR and administration experience, with at least 2-3 years in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and other relevant employment legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including profiling, advertising, screening, interviewing and onboarding new employees.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and guidelines aligned with Malaysian employment legislation and company values.
• Administer payroll, benefits, leave management and employee records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Oversee employee relations, including handling grievances and performance management discussions.
• Coordinate training and development programmes to enhance employee skills and career progression.
• Manage health, safety and workplace compliance matters in line with manufacturing regulations.
• Maintain accurate personnel files and employment documentation.
• Handle general administrative functions including office management, vendor coordination and procurement.
• Prepare HR reports and analytics to support management decision-making.
• Foster a positive workplace culture and support employee engagement initiatives.
