Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Level 2 cloud support engineer to provide Mandarin-speaking GCP technical support and operational management for Asia Pacific. The role covers incident management, migration support, and hands-on administration across Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.

Four-plus years in cloud infrastructure or support, strong Linux and networking skills, and fluency in Mandarin and English are required.

Qualifications

4+ years of cloud infrastructure or support experience.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
Strong knowledge of Linux administration.
Networking (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancers, Firewalls).
Kubernetes and container technologies.
IAM and cloud security concepts.
Incident and problem management processes.
Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Terraform).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

Responsibilities

Manage and support GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL.
Troubleshoot production incidents and service disruptions.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Monitor cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Operations Suite.
Escalate complex issues to L3 engineers or Google support when required.
Support cloud migration, deployment, and optimization activities.
Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
Communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
