Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a qualified L2 GCP Support Engineer fluent in Mandarin to deliver technical support and operational management for Google Cloud Platform environments across the Asia Pacific region. You will troubleshoot incidents, perform RCA, and collaborate with L3 and Google support to ensure service reliability.

The role requires hands-on GCP experience, Linux and networking knowledge, and scripting skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cloud infrastructure or support experience.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration and networking (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancers, firewalls).
• Kubernetes and container technologies; IAM and cloud security concepts.
• Incident and problem management processes; scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 technical support and operational management for GCP environments.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and service disruptions.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Operations Suite.
• Escalate complex issues to L3 engineers or Google support as needed.
• Support cloud migration, deployment, and optimization activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings.

Role Overview

Provide Level 2 technical support and operational management for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments, serving Mandarin-speaking customers and stakeholders across the Asia Pacific region.

• Monitor cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Operations Suite (formerly Stackdriver).
• Escalate complex issues to L3 engineers or Google support when required.
• Support cloud migration, deployment, and optimization activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of cloud infrastructure or support experience.
