Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Level 2 cloud support engineer to provide technical support and operational management for Google Cloud Platform environments across the Asia Pacific region, focusing on Mandarin-speaking customers and stakeholders. You will handle incidents, RCA, and migration activities while collaborating with global teams.

Required 4+ years in cloud infrastructure, hands-on GCP experience, and strong Linux, networking, Kubernetes, IAM and security knowledge.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cloud infrastructure or support experience.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration, networking, Kubernetes, IAM and cloud security.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell or Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Fluent Mandarin (Simplified Chinese) and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, VPC, IAM & Security).
• Troubleshoot production incidents and service disruptions.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Operations Suite.
• Escalate complex issues to L3 engineers or Google support when required.
• Support cloud migration, deployment, and optimization activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings.

Required Skills

  • Kubernetes and container technologies

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

Language Requirements

• Fluent Mandarin (Simplified Chinese) and English.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers and internal teams.

Preferred Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
