Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Level 2 cloud support engineer to provide technical support and operational management for Google Cloud Platform environments across the Asia Pacific region, focusing on Mandarin-speaking customers and stakeholders. You will handle incidents, RCA, and migration activities while collaborating with global teams.

Required 4+ years in cloud infrastructure, hands-on GCP experience, and strong Linux, networking, Kubernetes, IAM and security knowledge.

Qualifications

4+ years of cloud infrastructure or support experience.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
Strong knowledge of Linux administration, networking, Kubernetes, IAM and cloud security.
Scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell or Terraform.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
Fluent Mandarin (Simplified Chinese) and English.

Responsibilities

Manage and support GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, VPC, IAM & Security).
Troubleshoot production incidents and service disruptions.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
Monitor cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Operations Suite.
Escalate complex issues to L3 engineers or Google support when required.
Support cloud migration, deployment, and optimization activities.
Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
Communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
