Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking an MS Engineer L1 to provide first-line IT support for client environments, ensuring incidents are resolved and SLAs met. The role emphasizes multilingual communication (Mandarin, English; Cantonese a plus) and working in a hybrid environment with potential 12-hour shift patterns.

The ideal candidate has IT/Computing education and is entry-level or early-career in IT/helpdesk, ready to contribute to proactive incident management and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor degree in Information Technology/Computing or demonstrated equivalent work experience.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English (both speaking and writing); Cantonese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls, emails, and chats from customers and route requests accordingly.
• Provide technical support for IT infrastructure/pc applications using documented procedures and tools.
• Identify recurring incidents and opportunities to avoid them; help reduce incidents.
• Investigate first-line incidents to determine root cause and resolve with guidance.
• Log all interactions accurately in the helpdesk/CRM system and monitor client infrastructure.
