Job summary

RESOURCES HOUSE is seeking a Customer Service & Operations Coordinator (Chinese-speaking) to handle inquiries across channels, manage quotations, orders, tracking, and transit times. The role includes calming customers, escalating when needed, and supporting internal follow-ups and data entry.

The ideal candidate communicates in Mandarin with some English, has fast Chinese typing, and is proficient in Excel/Sheets. Some knowledge of logistics processes and systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Mandarin; English sufficient for Malay-speaking clients and basic written correspondence.
• Fast Chinese typing speed.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; open to learning new systems.
• Emotionally stable and able to work under pressure.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and responsible; owns mistakes and fixes promptly.
• Willing to learn logistics processes and related systems.
• Prior experience in customer service, e-commerce, logistics, or warehousing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries via WhatsApp, respond.io, Xiaohongshu and other channels—quotations, order follow-ups, tracking, transit times
• Manage customer requests such as address/order changes, restocking, and sensitive goods; resolve what you can independently, and escalate clearly what you cannot
• Act as first-line support to calm customer emotions and prevent escalation
• Assist with internal follow-ups, document preparation, and data entry
