Job summary

TNG Digital Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a Manager of Settlement Operations to oversee daily settlement processing, reconciliation, and reporting. The role requires strong governance and collaboration with Finance and other business units to ensure accuracy and timeliness in line with merchant SLAs.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in finance operations management, preferably in retail services or banking, and holds tertiary or professional finance qualifications.

Qualifications

• Tertiary or professional qualification in Business Administration, Finance/Account or related Professional Certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all settlement transactions are captured and recorded in ERP system, reconciled daily.
• Validate settlement files and reconcile prior to settlement approval.
• Proactively check and investigate exceptional transactions from settlement reconciliation.
• Follow up on payments, invoices and supporting documents from Finance/Customer if required.
• Ensure settlements are processed accurately and timely as per merchant SLA.
• Update trackers and reports related to settlement on a daily basis.
• Prepare and update relevant reports to Senior Manager and/or other Business Unit; perform analysis when required.
• Follow up issues and escalate to Senior Manager; provide support to other Business Units.
• Continuously look for process improvements and opportunities to improve business.
• Support and guide team members.

Education

Tertiary or professional qualification in Business Administration, Finance/Account or related Professional Certification
