Job summary

IOI Properties Group Berhad is seeking a Fit-Out/Construction Supervisor to lead a team of fit-out coordinators, ensuring design layouts are realized on time in close liaison with contractors and consultants. You will manage pre-fit out, fit out, and post fit out activities, coordinate with Leasing, Building Services, Security and Safety, and supervise contractor compliance with approved designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of fit-out coordinators to realize design layouts on time with contractors and consultants.
• Provide design inputs and coordinate base building work with Project Department.
• Monitor overall progress and coordinate with Leasing, Building Services, Security and Safety.
• Inspect shops before opening and certify compliance with safety and building standards.
• Head special project tasks as assigned by management.

Job description

Key Accountabilities Responsibilities and Duties

To lead a team of fit out coordinators, in ensuring the design layout are realized in a timely fashion in close liaison with contractors and consultants.

Pre-Fit Out / Construction Stage

• To provide design and creative inputs and technical coordination for shop fit out.
• To raise requisition and liaise with Project Department on base building work.
• To liaise with base building consultants pertaining to technical issues.
• To make recommendations to the Tenancy Approving Board with regard to fit out works.

Fit Out / Construction Stage

• To monitor the overall progress of work for tenancy fit out.
• To liaise and coordinate with Leasing, Building Services, Security and Safety Department with regard to fit out works.
• To monitor fit out works and ensure contractors comply with approved design and address any technical issues that may arise.

Post Fit Out / Construction Stage

• To carry out inspection before opening of shops with Leasing, Safety and Building Services Department upon completion of fit out works and certify compliance.
• To supervise rectification works in close liaison with Contractors and Leasing, Safety and Building Services Department in the event of non-compliance.

Special Project

• To head specific project work as assign by the management within the Company.
