Malaysia Airports Berhad is seeking a Manager to lead planning and cost control for the Client Office Kota Kinabalu. You will develop the Master Implementation Program, prepare cost estimates, monitor milestones and coordinate with contractors to ensure timely progress.

Requires a degree in Engineering/Architecture/Quantity Surveying/Building/Construction Management and at least five years of project management experience, preferably in construction or airport environments with exposed

Qualifications

• Degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Exposure in projects with big construction scale and complexities.

Responsabilités

• Prepare Master Implementation Program (MIP) to ensure suitability and to incorporate critical dates for decision making.
• Prepare and maintain detailed engineering and construction schedules including development of critical path and project float.
• Partner with project personnel to establish the plan and document the scope, develop project schedules or capital cost estimates.
• Maintain liaison with management regarding project planning by conducting analysis and preparing report.
• Monitor hours and costs to determine trends and to assist in forecasting.
• Ensure the maintenance of all essential documentation for project planning report.
• Review of Contractors' proposal on Overall Works Program (OWP) to ensure suitability with MIP.
• Overall planning, reviewing, monitoring, reporting on all the Consultant's and Contractor's planning and implementation strategies including the interfaced activities.
• Preparing a realistic plan and ensuring tight cost control amidst challenges and scope changes posed along the project progress

Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Plan and control the overall project milestones, factoring suitability and detailed aspects, prepare cost estimates and cost control along project timelines

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Preparation of Master Implementation Program (MIP) to ensure suitability and to incorporate critical dates for decision making
• Prepare and maintain detailed engineering and construction schedules including development of critical path and project float
• Partner with project personnel to establish the plan and document the scope, develop project schedules or capital cost estimates
• Maintain liaison with management regarding project planning by conducting analysis and preparing report.
• Monitor hours and costs to determine trends and to assist in forecasting. Evaluate scope changes, cost trends, additional work orders and other elements
• Ensure the maintenance of all essential documentation for project planning report. May make periodic visits to review progress reporting
• Review of Contractors' proposal on Overall Works Program (OWP) to ensure suitability with MIP
• Overall planning, reviewing, monitoring, reporting on all the Consultant's and Contractor's planning and implementation strategies including the interfaced activities
• Preparing a realistic plan and ensuring tight cost control amidst challenges and scope changes posed along the project progress

Relevant Industries

Degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience.

• Degree in Engineering/Architecture/Quantity Surveyor/Building/Construction Management with experience in project management preferably in construction industries or airport management
