Job summary

TWO ONE AUTO WORKSHOP SDN BHD is seeking an experienced workshop manager to lead the Body & Paint operations in Ampang Jaya, Malaysia. You will oversee scheduling, staffing, and completion timelines to ensure high-quality repairs.

Responsibilities include preparing repair cost estimates for accident and insurance claims, supervising foremen and technicians, and ensuring compliance with insurance standards and customer deadlines. Strong leadership and planning skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Body & Paint workshop operations
• Strong knowledge of accident repair and insurance claim procedures
• Good leadership and staff management skills
• Able to plan and control workshop workflow effectively
• Excellent communication with staff, customers, adjusters and insurance companies

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise overall Body & Paint workshop operation.
• Prepare accurate repair cost estimates for accident and insurance claim, cash repair and TNB vehicles (Body & Paint).
• Plan and monitor daily vehicle repair schedules and assign job effectively to foreman, technicians, panel beaters, painters and other workshop staff.
• Ensure vehicles are completed and delivered according to the promised completion date.
• Monitor staff productivity, attendance, discipline and work performance.
• Conduct regular progress check on all vehicles under repair.
• Ensure repair meets the required quality and insurance standards.
• Monitor all submission and approval from insurance company.
• Control repair costs, labour costs, materials usage and wastage.
• Conduct daily briefing with the workshop team and review outstanding jobs.
• Report workshop performance, delays and operational issues to management.

Overall body & Paint workshop profitability

Requirements :

Minimum 5 years of experience in Body & Paint workshop operations, preferably with an Insurance Panel Workshop.

Very strong knowledge of accident repair, body repair, panting and insurance claim procedures.

Good leadership and staff management skills.

Able to plan and control workshop workflow effectively.

Good communication skills when dealing with staff, customers, adjusters and insurance companies.

Responsible, disciplined, honest and able to work under pressure.
