Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in automotive Body & Paint or workshop operations.

Job description

Manage overall Body & Paint operations and ensure smooth daily workflow, productivity and timely vehicle delivery.

Drive monthly sales and revenue targets, actively developing Body & Paint business opportunities and ensuring the team achieves monthly sales and gross profit targets.

Lead and motivate the Body & Paint team, including technicians, painters, panel beaters, estimators and support staff, to achieve productivity and performance targets.

Oversee insurance claims and accident repairs, including quotation, estimation, claim submission, approval and coordination with insurance companies and adjusters.

Monitor repair quality and turnaround time to ensure vehicles are repaired according to manufacturer standards and delivered within the agreed timeline.

Develop and maintain business relationships with insurance companies, fleet customers, corporate clients, workshops and other business partners to generate additional Body & Paint sales.

Control departmental costs and profitability, including manpower, parts, paint, materials and outsourced services, while maximising gross profit.

Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve complaints, while ensuring compliance with workshop safety, housekeeping, quality and operational standards.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive Body & Paint, accident repair or workshop operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial/supervisory role.

Proven track record in achieving monthly sales, revenue and gross profit targets.

Strong knowledge of body repair, panel beating, spray painting, vehicle estimation and repair processes.

Experienced in handling insurance claims, insurance companies, adjusters and accident repair processes.

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Good knowledge of workshop operations, productivity, cost control and manpower planning.

Excellent communication, customer service, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Results-oriented, proactive and commercially driven, with the ability to grow Body & Paint business and meet monthly operational and financial targets.
