Job summary

Sourceo Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for Johor Bahru City Square Mall to maintain a safe and secure environment for shoppers, tenants, staff, and visitors. The role focuses on vigilance, access control, incident response, and customer service.

You will patrol, monitor CCTV and alarms, manage entry permits, assist in emergencies, and support crowd and traffic management during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in security, customer service, hospitality, retail, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Security patrols and surveillance of mall areas to deter incidents.
• Manage access control for contractors, tenants, and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and complaints; assist evacuations.
• Conduct routine safety inspections of exits and firefighting equipment.
• Provide directions and courteous service to shoppers and tenants.
• Monitor tenant renovations and contractor movements for compliance.
• Maintain security logs and reports accurately.
