Job summary

Allgreen Properties in Johor Bahru City Square Mall is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant environment for shoppers, tenants, staff, and visitors through patrols, CCTV monitoring, access control, incident response, and strong customer service.

You will conduct regular patrols of mall areas, monitor security systems, control access for contractors and visitors, respond to incidents, assist in crowd control, and report events promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years in security, customer service, hospitality, retail operations or related field.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Physically fit and willing to work rotating shifts, weekends & public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of mall, car parks, loading bays and external premises.
• Monitor CCTV and security equipment to detect breaches and hazards.
• Report suspicious activities and incidents to supervisors promptly.
• Control access for contractors, vendors, tenants and visitors.
• Respond to emergencies, accidents, or disturbances; assist crowd control.
• Maintain accurate security logs and incident reports.
• Assist in key management and access card control procedures.
• Represent the mall with professional, courteous customer service.
