Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad is a leading content and consumer company in Malaysia, serving a broad audience across TV, radio, digital and commerce platforms. We seek a creative content professional to develop and execute Malay-language digital content that supports client pitches and revenue goals.

You will collaborate with Sales, Campaign Managers and Content teams to deliver timely, platform-appropriate articles and social media, while staying ahead of Malay digital trends and audience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, Journalism, or related fields.
• Strong command of Bahasa Melayu; working level of English.
• 2+ years of BM digital content, editorial, or branded content experience.
• Experienced in Canva and Capcut.
• Solid understanding of social media, digital formats, and Malay audience trends.
• Strong storytelling with focus on commercial outcomes.
• Organised, timely, proactive, and adaptable.
• Collaborative team player who can work independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• To develop and execute digital-first BM branded content (articles and social media) for Malay audiences that support client content pitches, branded content solutions, and revenue objectives across Astro’s digital ecosystem.
• Work with Sales, Campaign Managers and Content teams to ensure strategies are executable and delivered on time.
• Stay updated on Malay digital trends, social media formats, and audience behaviour; tailor content to each platform’s DNA.
• Align content ideas with engagement and reach objectives and apply performance insights to recommendations.
