Food Valley in Selangor is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to manage resources in maintenance operations, schedule and delegate service requests and PM tasks, and guide the team to achieve reliable output.
You will perform preventive maintenance, liaise with service providers, update SOPs and WI, monitor equipment health, and ensure FSMS, HAMS and halal standards are met; PLC experience is a plus.

Assisting manager in managing resources in maintenance operations by scheduling, prioritizing and delegating service requests and PM tasks. Supervising, training and guiding team members to achieve desired results.
Initiate and perform preventive maintenance according to set schedule to minimize equipment or system breakdown or failure; and attend to any service requests relating to repairing or servicing building, facilities (e.g. refrigeration system, compressed air system and etc.) or equipment (electrical or mechanical issues) as and when they arise or required, prioritizing the tasks on hand effectively to minimize loss.
Liaise with external parties i.e. service provides, contractors, suppliers, authorities etc. for required repair and services or successful projects implementation.
Review, update and create SOP and WI should there be a need.
Tracking team’s performances, issues identified, record and report equipment and utilities health status and availability to upper management on periodic basis, and share improvement proposals/action plans
Report all equipment issues and irregularities to Assistant Manager and Manager.
Be involved in installation and commissioning of new system or equipment, ensuring conditions are fulfilled, and performance are acceptable before approving handover from supplier, or handing over to user-department.
Develop best practices, routines and solutions to improve production process, quality of output and maintenance activities.
Participate in activities that call for enhancement/improvisation such as upgrading of equipment/machineries/processing line, setting up and commissioning of new production line, migration to automation, digitalisation etc.
Monitor & assist any installations, repair and maintenance jobs performed by appointed suppliers or vendors.
Maintain proper records of equipment operation, service reports, preventive maintenance records and other electrical, mechanical or refrigeration system related documentation.
Actively maintain inventory list of electrical, mechanical and refrigeration parts and/or components.
Ensure compliance and continuous improvements to Food Safety Management System (FSMS), Halal Assurance Management System (HAMS) and various Quality, Food, Health and Safety Management Systems implemented according to standards and company’s objectives/policies.
Participate in weekly meetings and discussions with relevant operation teams.
Undertake other assigned/ad-hoc tasks from time to time.
Perform other functions and duties as and when assigned by higher authorities.
Requirements:
Certificate/Diploma in Mechatronic / Electrical & Electronic / Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment or related functions.
Experience in trouble shooting production related facilities and equipment (e.g. Filing Machines, Packing Machine, Pumps, Servo Control systems, Air compressors, Heating coil system, diaphragm pump, centrifugal pump, vacuum pump, Electrical power systems, Hydraulic & Pneumatic control
systems including inverter control speed meter and air-condition/refrigeration systems.
Experience in handlingPLC Systemwill be granted advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Able to communicate in both Malay and English.
Resourceful, team player and able to multi-task.
Can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Able to work on shift, weekends and on-call.
