NUCTECH TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support mechanical engineering teams in Sabah. The role involves design assistance, diagnostics, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime.

You will diagnose mechanical issues, repair components, document work, and ensure parts supply. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in electrical/mechanical engineering technology (MIT) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist mechanical engineer with design and maintenance tasks.

Job description

Assisting the mechanical engineer with mechanical design and maintenance tasks.

Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.

Developing and implementing mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.

Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.

Documenting processes and maintaining mechanical service records.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Diploma / Degree in electrical/ mechanical engineering technology (MIT), or similar.

A minimum of one year experience as a technician in electromechanical industry.

Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Proficiency in mechanical design and diagnostic testing software.

Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Great organizational and time management abilities.
