Job summary

DEVICE DYNAMICS ASIA (M) SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a maintenance engineer to manage process control, improvements, and equipment setup for manufacturing. The role covers machine maintenance, spare parts, and ongoing optimization in a production environment.

The candidate should hold a Diploma/Certificate in Engineering related fields or equivalent, with 1–2 years in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical/electronic equipment. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Mechatronics, Mechanical or equivalent.
• One or two years of experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical and electro-mechanical principles.
• Knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Basic technical skills in maintenance works.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair the entire machine in the production area.
• Perform operational, preventive maintenance and corrective work as instructed.
• Estimate labor and material costs for proposed equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electronic and electrical malfunctions.
• Conduct studies on the efficiency of methods, materials and equipment.
• Modify existing equipment to fit workplace needs.
• Prepare technical reports related to the work.
• Follow established safety procedures.

Job description

• Estimate labor and material costs for proposed equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve electronic and electrical malfunctions
• Conduct studies on the efficiency of methods, materials and equipment
• Modify existing equipment to fit needs of the workplace
• Prepare technical reports related to the work
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures

About you
